This was to commemorate the world cancer day which was on the 4th February. I was also involved in several activities during this period.
As a speaker at the Inaugural National Cancer Summit that was hosted by the National Cancer Institute-Kenya on the 2nd -3rd February 2023 at Safaripark Hotel, Nairobi Kenya.
My topics of discussion were on the The Role of Digital Tools as a Patient Information Resource and the second speaker slot was on Panel Discussion: Lack of Health Information as a barrier to accessing care.
Saturday 4th February I was a guest of the Garissa County representing the Cancer patients & Survivors civil society in giving a speech during the opening of the Comprehensive Cancer Center in Garissa town that was officially opened by the CS Health Susan Nakhumicha Wafula.
